Induction 2008

Venues: Daytime event – Glasgow Palace of Arts, Bellahouston Park.
Banquet of Champions – Quality Hotel, Glasgow Central Station Hotel.

  • Posthumous Award – Bert Gilroy and James Tancy Lee

Induction 2006

Daytime event – Glasgow Palace of Arts, Bellahouston Park.
Banquet of Champions – St Andrews Suite (Home of Scottish Boxing) Holiday Inn, Glasgow City West.
This was one of our  biggest events so far with members coming from Ex Boxers Associations from Manchester, London, Sheffield, Blackpool, Rotherham, Wales and across Scotland.

Induction 2004

Venue: Daytime event – Glasgow Palace of Arts, Bellahouston Park.
Banquet of Champions – St Andrews Suite (Home of Scottish Boxing) Holiday Inn, Glasgow City West.
Guests included Mary Powell and members of the London Ex-Boxers Association.

  • Inductees – John “Cowboy” McCormack, Walter McGowan, Bobby Neil and Pat Clinton
  • Posthumous Award – Benny Lynch and Jackie Patterson

Induction 2002

Venue: Summerlee Heritage Park, Coatbridge
This was the first ever Induction Event in Europe honouring Scottish World Greats. Coatbridge was chosen since the town hosted the first ever licensed boxing event in Scotland. The Induction Event was attended by 1200 people during the day and was followed by a Banquet of Champions for 350 people.
