- The Board of Directors and Committee voted unanimously to make Freddie Mack the first President of the Scots Boxing Hall of Fame in 2001.

Special Honours
The Board of Directors and Committee unanimously agreed to honour the 1956 Olympians for their remarkable achievements at the Melbourne Olympics on their 50th Anniversary.
